We at Paolo Mejia Fine Art and Design are very excited to announce our comeback in showcasing art and introducing artists to the community. We will be opening our new brick-and-mortar gallery in the Bushrod/Upper Temescal District of Oakland this late July to early August. It has been a long wait in finding our own space. Finally, here we are to re-establish our activities and mission. This new space will open more doors for us and our fellow artists. We hope that you continue to support us by following us and attending our functions. There will be more positive news coming up. So, stick around and anticipate a fresh new space and activities.
The Paolo Mejia Fine Arts and Design cordially invites everyone to our March group art show entitled “The Beautiful, Surreal and Ugly”. This group art show will exhibit paintings magnifying the beautiful aesthetics of the floral form and reinterpreted in their own special perspective. Some work may reference Georgia O’ Keeffe’s floral influenced concepts, while others reinterpret the universal iconoclasm of beauty. The magnification of beauty and it’s iconoclastic duality, through the scopes of floral abstraction, will be explored. We invite everyone to our group art show this March that will usher in the Spring Equinox. Attend our reception on a First Friday art walk.

The PAOLO MEJIA art gallery and design studio is very excited to announce the re-establishment of our art gallery. We are back after a low-keyed year, and now we have found a new home at a prime and active location of North Beach/Telegraph Hill. After two and a half years of fantastic and dynamic artistic exploratives at our 3rd Street main facility, we say farewell to our first home that brought us creative insights and fundamentals. Our first home was an intimate space where we grew, developed and cultivated our commonality with our artists and community. It shall be missed dearly and remembered.
As we re-establish our gallery at our new space in North Beach/Telegraph Hill, we will be venturing with two other entities that will make the neighborhood more intense and dynamic. Our collaborative venture will focus in the fine arts, design and music. This venture will be a fruitful one and will develop into a bigger phenomenon that will excite and bring interest to everyone. We hope to create this excitement and interest because our goal is to keep the ARTS alive and for that to thrive in a fast technologically developing society. Visit us soon as we move in this September and bring you a group show as a presentation for our Grand Opening.
