Kate Moore was a Connecticut native but have recently switched coasts and is now a resident of Berkeley. Her formal degree is in Graphic Design, which is what she does as a profession. However, Kate believes her work extends beyond that title. She believes in research and experimentation with art and design; in finding bits and pieces of inspiration and seeing if they can all fit in her computer scanner and create compositions; in straying from the internet and modern technology addictions, and digging around to find resources. Kate Moore believes that art can regain it’s presence and power in the world if we all stopped hitting the “like” or “reblog” button half as much and spent more of our time creating.
