Katie Steward grew up in the Hudson Valley, New York, and went on to attend Pratt Institute where she majored in communication design with a specialization in art direction. Her professional career has focused on advertising firms such as Ogilvy & Mather, Crispin Porter & Bogusky and Vitro. She has continued to follow her passion of fine art is her free time. Past exhibits include group shoes at MH Art & Framing in Chelsea, Cameo Gallery in Brooklyn, Garrison Art Center, Honey Hive Gallery in SF, Hotel Biron in SF and Basic Urban in San Diego.
