Rtystk Shavers’s art promotes the continuum of inner cultural relations and the kindred dialogue that is aimed at identifying each other between a variety of cultures, while challenging many of our society’s deepest assumptions. His art processes are all common social principles such as words that both uplift and downshift our relationship through language. He then apply colors, texture or fabric that adds a great sense of artistic creation and supportive expression allowing his paintings to become visual affirmation of inner city discourse.
