John Salomon was born in Cavite, Philippines in 1982 and grew up in San Jose, California. He had the chance to travel while being enlisted in the U.S. Army. This led to new discoveries of multicultural arts. John later studied at Evergreen Valley College, San Jose and did an apprenticeship under illustration artist Paco Dietz at Graven Image Tattoo. He also took part in creating murals at EVC Childcare and at Foster Community Family Shelter. John also has participated in public venues and displayed work in Phantom Galleries, Voodoo Lounge, and Sub Zero Fest.
