Megan Eckman

Megan Eckman‘s oil paintings play with the obscurity and the display of the human body. The “Wallflowers” hide essential parts of the figures behind wallpaper adorned with fig leaves, the traditional way to hide gender and ‘unspeakable parts’ in classic artwork. The two paintings work in conjunction to dance/communicate within the confines of their ‘proper’ space.
