The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio<\/b><\/i> with the collaboration of Jack London Square Realty<\/i> are looking for guest artists to take part in our February\/March art show entitled “Out of the Fringes”<\/i> with the theme of African American culture\/heritage month in mind. We are looking for artists that can share their view\/perspective of African American life and culture in the Bay Area, and how that is translated, relayed or portrayed in art form. The art call is open to everyone.<\/p>\n

Submission guidelines:<\/span><\/i> <\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Send up to 10 images of work that is consistent of your style.<\/li>\n
• A list of info for the images (ie. Title and medium)<\/li>\n
• A small statement about how your work relate to African American culture\/heritage.<\/li>\n
• A website that we can check out. (If you have one.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Deadline:<\/span><\/i> CLOSED<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

  All files should be emailed to paolomejia(@hotmail.com<\/em>. The show will be up from February through the end of March. The gallery will contact you if you are accepted to take part in the group show.<\/p>\n
