Biography<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Marcius Noceda<\/em> was born in Olongapo City, Philippines and moved to the United States when he was 15. He first studied painting in Ventura Community College and graduated with a BFA in painting at the San Francisco Art Institute. He is a part of Filipino American art collective Epekto Art Projects<\/em>. The collective organizes shows in San Francisco, Oakland and Manila. He currently works at the Hunters Point Shipyard artist studio.

Art Statement<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n

Noceda’s artwork is a synthesis of symbolism, mythology, history and unusual events that create a stage like scene with many possible interpretations.<\/p>\n
