Currently, Pamela Yba\u00f1ez<\/em> calls Oakland California home. She works in painting, photography, and video. Pamela is also the founder of an organization called The New Hall<\/i> that creates free interactive workshops for the community.<\/p>\n

Overall, her work deals with personal and social investigations as a way to discuss issues around inequality and identity. Art was never an obvious path, but through her undergraduate and graduate studies it has become a foundation for her life. She\u00a0firmly believes that art can be a tool for asking questions that can lead to new ideas.<\/p>\n
